William Albert "Billy" Gessman, son of Ronald and Mary Virginia (Cullom) Gessman was born on January 25, 1983 in Belleville, Illinois, and departed this life at his home in Montgomery City on November 8, 2017 at the age of 34.

He was a loving son and was loved by everyone.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Virginia Gessman of Montgomery City; two children, Angelina Gessman and William Albert Gessman Jr., both of Montgomery City; two brothers, Andy of Montgomery City and Daniel of Jefferson City; one sister, Mary of Millersburg; his significant other, Emily Roll; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by his father, his daughter, Abby; one brother, Johnny; grandparents, and his uncle, Paul Cullom, whom he dearly loved and cherished.

Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, at Schlanker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bellflower Cemetery in Bellflower.

Visitation was Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Schlanker Funeral Home.
