William "Joe" D. Killian, 76, of Bellflower, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023.

The family would love to be joined by all who knew Joe for a celebration of his life that will be held on Sunday, October 15th from 12-4 pm at the Jonesburg Lions Park, 119 W. Booneslick Rd. in Jonesburg, MO 63351

Joe was born July 13, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, to John "Jay" and Thelma (Woodcock) Killian.

Joe enjoyed restoring classic cars; his first, a 49 Plymouth Coupe, this interest led to building rat rods, and attending every car show he could. Some of his favorite pastimes were to go for a drive to yard sales and antiquing. He had a particular soft spot for the "rare collectibles no one else wanted." Joe delighted in the simple pleasures of life; you could often find him painting, gardening, or on his riding mower. In his youth, he served in the United States Army and was a Police Officer for a brief amount of time. Joe had a kind spirit; he could brighten anyone's day with his jokes and loved to extend a helping hand. His family and dogs were the light of his life; he poured his heart into every moment he spent with them. Joe leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength. May his memory forever reside in the hearts of those who loved him.

Joe was preceded in death by his son; Tyler (Abby Kresyman)  Killian, his first wife of 27 years; Diana (Holloway) Killian, his life partner of 21 years; Mabel Crawley, and his parents.

He is survived by his fiancé; Sue Trower, his children; Heather Hollaway, Julie (Dave) Fortenberry, Tom (Cheryl) Killian, Tim Killian, and Tony (Crystal) Killian, sixteen grandchildren; Jenny, Delayna, Trevor, Dj, Austin, Tiffany, Adam, Wesley, David, Nicholas, Krissa, Lindsey, Christian, Xavion, Destiny and Alley, nine great-grandchildren, and his seven brothers and one sister; Ronald Lee (Natalie) Killian, James "Jim" Donald Killian, Michael Eugene Killian, Paul David Killian, Johnny Wayne Killian, Richard Dean Killian, Charles Ray (Donna) Killian and Shirley Rene (Killian) Orr, along with many extended family and friends. Joe will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
