William Daive Cox, 84, of New Florence, MO, died on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at the St. Andrews at New Florence Care Center in New Florence, MO.

William Daive Cox was born March 24, 1936 in Silex, MO, to Charles Cox and Mildred Marie Lanvermeier Cox. He worked for a while at Binkley Manufacturing and also at MFA until his health started to decline. Mr. Cox was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Montgomery City, MO, he loved God, life and helping others. Mr. Cox also enjoyed fishing, hunting, chopping wood, and visiting.

Mr. Cox is survived by his daughter, Mona Mozier and husband, Lance, of Troy, MO; three sisters: Lillian Kay, Margaret Ann, and Edna Mae, and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mr. Cox was cremated and services will be held at a later date.

Schlanker Funeral Home of Montgomery City, MO, was in charge of the arrangements.
