Thomas "Tom" L. Reagan, 79, of rural Montgomery City, MO, died at 6:15 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville, MO after a brief illness.

Tom was born June 11, 1938 in Montgomery City, MO to the late Dave "Tucker" and Lorene Jones Reagan. He married Evalena "Bunny" McEuen, on May 29, 1965 in Concord, CA. Bunny precedes Tom in death on January 20, 2013.

Tom was a life-long resident of Montgomery County. He and Bunny started their first flooring business in 1967 with R&R Carpets. Their building was on the main street. After they outgrew this building, they moved to the corner of Allen Street and Highway 161. They became Reagan's Carpet & Furniture. They went out of business in the early 1990's and Tom became a cattle farmer. Tom, Bunny, Jack and Helen Reagan went into the decoupage business at one point taking their works of arts to the Missouri State Fair for several years. Along with Jack and Helen they owned the Carwash at the south end of town and The Swinging Doors on Allen Street, both in Montgomery City. Tom was also on the Montgomery County Fair Board for many years. In 2013 he opened his last flooring business County Floors and More at the 4-way in Montgomery City which his daughter still runs. Tom loved to fish, hunt and garden and he was a great cook. He would utilize his garden for canning and sharing with his friends and family. He also loved making wine, apple butter and kettle corn with his friends and family.

Tom is survived by his son James L. Reagan of Montgomery City, and a daughter Tamara L. Banks (Billy) of Montgomery City. Three grandchildren: Erica Bermudez (Mike) of Charlotte, NC; and Tucker and Garrett Banks of Montgomery City. Also surviving are four brothers, Bill (Dian) Reagan, Ernest (Valerie) Reagan of Perris, CA, Pat Reagan of Montgomery City, Bob (Becky) Reagan of Wellsville and one sister, Marie Pasley (John) of Columbia, MO. One sister-in-law, Bernice Reagan of High Ridge, MO. Surviving also are four brothers-in-law, Jim McEuen (Sherry) of Dixon, CA; Bobby McEuen (Eva) of Concord, CA; Clyde McEuen (Suzanne) of Browns Valley, CA; Rene McEuen (Georgeanne) of Clayton, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and even great-great nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife, parents; one brother, Jack Reagan and sisters-in-law Helen Reagan and Vickie Reagan. Also preceded in death by his in-laws Oscar McEuen and Josie Stevens McEuen and one brother-in-law, Don McEuen.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. The Reverend Brian Larkin officiated and interment was in the Montgomery City Cemetery. Visitation was held from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.  Casketbearers included Ron Reagan, Dennis Reagan, Darrin Reagan, Randy Reagan, Russ Reagan, and Donny McEuen.  Honorary casketbearers included David L. Reagan, Mitch Reagan, Kevin Reagan, Brian Pasley, Loren McEuen, Jerry McEuen, Michael McEuen, Darrin McEuen, Bobby McEuen, David McEuen, Kenny McEuen, and Jeffery McEuen.
