Thomas Leroy Huff, Sr., 84, of Jonesburg, formerly of Montgomery City, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 11, at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City.
Thomas was born May 6, 1932 in Louisiana, the son of John Harrison and Mildred (Vancleve) Huff, Sr.
Mr. Huff was a graduate of Elsberry High School and was a self-employed logger.
Survivors include one son, Tom Huff of St. Charles; one daughter, Peggy Thornhill of Tampa, FL; six grandchildren, April Hager of Wellsville, Randy Huff of Wellsville, Curtis Huff of Tamaroa, IL, Travis Huff of Tamaroa, IL, Ashley Huff of Williamsburg, and Loretta Huff of Fulton; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Thomas was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Huff; and four siblings, John H. Huff, Jr., Mary Johnson, Nellie McCarty, and Roscoe Barnes.
