Thomas Edgar Boain of St. Charles, MO, formerly of Rhineland, MO, died at the age of 85 on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

Thomas Edgar Boain was born on September 2, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Edgar Boain and Virginia Delaney Boain.  He graduated from Ferguson High School in St. Louis, MO, and attended college at Culver-Stockton in Canton, MO. Thomas worked as a Glazier and Construction Estimator for the Local 513 Union out of St. Louis, MO, until his retirement.

He married Joanne Kinsley on June 29, 1971 at the Ferguson United Methodist Church in Ferguson, MO. They were faithfully married for 50 years this year. He took great pride in anything he did from working as a Glazier, drawing construction plans, woodworking, and building. He enjoyed hunting deer and turkey with his two sons, riding his gator with his dog, Murphy, and relishing food, drink, and fellowship with his Cousinados. Thomas will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Thomas Edgar Boain is survived by his wife, Joanne Kinsley Boain of St. Charles, MO; and two sons: Jack Scott Boain and wife, Larnise; and Graham Thomas Boain and wife, Holly, all of St. Charles, MO.  Also surviving are his grandchildren, Hunter Boain, Maiya Boain, and Delaney Boain, and numerous Cousinados, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Boain and Virginia Delaney Boain and one brother, Dr. Joseph Boain, DDS.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.  A Celebration of life and a time to share memories was held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Interment was held immediately following the celebration at the Mt. Horeb Cemetery, near Williamsburg, MO.

Guests are welcome to attend the services. Please adhere to social distancing protocol. Attendees are encouraged to wear a mask or other personal protective equipment. Hand sanitizer and wash rooms are available to wash and clean hands.
