Terry Bonney, 80, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Friday, March 8, 2019, at his home surrounded by family.

Terry Holt Bonney was born on October 2, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Robert Clyde Bonney and Gladys Irene McNerney. After graduating from Wellston High School in St. Louis, MO, Terry entered the Army Reserves. He married Patsy Ruth Harber on June 15, 1957 in St. Louis, MO. Terry worked in the family business, Putney Roofing Company, until his retirement. He and his wife, Patsy, moved from St. Charles to Montgomery City in 2002, to be close to their children. Terry enjoyed reading, car rides in the country, singing, sports and politics. Terry especially enjoyed spending time with his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Bonney is survived by his children: Deborah Lynne Bonney Dent of Montgomery City, MO; and Terri Ann Bonney Broz and husband, Bill, of Montgomery City, MO; four grandchildren: Williams Joseph "Jay" Broz and wife, Kristi, of Lee's Summit, MO; Joseph H. Dent and wife, Amanda, of St. Charles, MO; Patrick Hershel Broz and wife, Jasmin, of Seattle, WA; Hannah Bonney Broz Gustafson and husband, Kris, of Lee's Summit, MO; and five great-granddaughters, Alivia June and Riley Rose Dent; Amelia Belle, Madelyn Paige, and Elise Noelle Broz. Also surviving is his brother, Robert Bonney.

Mr. Bonney is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Gladys Bonney, his wife, Patsy Ruth Harber Bonney, and one brother, Jerry Hayden Bonney.

The family plans to hold a private memorial service.
