Susan Ann Kyle, 71, of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away at her home on Friday, July 12, 2024.

Sue was born on July 20, 1952, in Oceanside, California, the daughter of Vincent and Delores (Weber) Schimweg. After graduating high school, she went to Lindenwood University and obtained her bachelor's degree in business administration. She continued her education further at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, where she earned her master's degree. With this knowledge she found her passion for teaching. She worked as a substitute teacher for all ages for many years, it brought her great joy to help students and those around her. She also worked as a school administrator for many years.

She would do anything to support and help those around her. Sue had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful mother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend. She was a longtime volunteer and parishioner at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She also spent some time volunteering with the Missouri Department of Conservation. Sue loved nature. She also enjoyed reading and birdwatching, especially hummingbirds.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Janice (James) Skaggs of St. Louis, Missouri; brothers and sisters: Sharon Fiorini of St. Charles, Missouri, Mark (Yvonne) Schimweg of St. Charles, Missouri, Jean (Roy) Hankins of Auxvasse, Missouri, Matt Schimweg of Foristell, Missouri; nieces and nephews: Kimberly, Timothy, Andy, Jessica, Claire, Allison, Carter, and Collin; an aunt, JoAnn Schneider; an uncle, Jack Schimweg; and many cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Delores Schimweg, her grandparents, brother-in-law, John Fiorini, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Montgomery City, Missouri, with Father Ernest Dike officiating.

Inurnment will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Montgomery City, Missouri.

A Luncheon and Celebration of Life will follow burial at Allen Street Events, 308 N. Allen Street, Montgomery City, Missouri 63361.
