Steven Joseph Vollmer             1967 - 2024

Steven passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2024.

He grew up in Pilot Grove, MO, where he was always known as "Joe". After high school he joined the United States Army. There he was always known as "Steven". He will always be remembered by both names and his mischievous grin.

Joe worked multiple jobs over the years primarily as a mechanic, the most recent with Christy Minerals.

He leaves behind two daughters that were his pride and joy. Lorelei Whitlow (Jeremiah) and Monica Vollmer of Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his mother Mary Ellen Twenter, a brother Edward (Monica) Vollmer and sister Rosie (Tom) Stauder all of Columbia, MO, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
