Steven Lester Jones, 59, of Perryville, MO, formerly of Montgomery City, MO, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at his home.

Steven Lester Jones was born on May 4, 1961 in Columbia, MO, to Virgil "Curly" Jones and Molly Yelton Jones. He graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School and was self-employed as he laid floors for a living all over the state. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved being with all his family.

Mr. Jones is survived by four children: Chrystal Jones of Montgomery City, MO; Sabrina Jones of New Florence, MO; Cody Jones of New Florence, MO; and Carson Jones of New Florence, MO; three grandchildren: Atlanta Kobusch, Austin Smith and Noah Jones -Pollard, and his parents: Virgil "Curly" Jones and Molly Yelton Jones. Mr. Jones is also survived by his siblings: Randy Jones of Hawaii and Chris Jones of Wellsville, MO; nephews: Grant and Clint Jones and numerous friends.

Mr. Jones will be cremated and there will be family services at a later date.
