Sidelle Davis Sr., 79, of New Florence, MO, died on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at St. Andrews at New Florence.

Sidelle Davis Sr. was born on January 24, 1942, in Arkansas, to Houston and Ideel Lloyd. He worked as a laborer and painter at Case Co. He was a profound musician, playing the guitar and drums in a gospel band known as "Spiritual Tone" and would often play his guitar at St. Andrews, sharing his musical talents with those around him. Some of his favorite past times were going to the casino to do some gambling, or down to the waterfront to fish.

Sidelle is survived by eight children: Teresa Miles and husband, Julius, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; JoAnn Davis of Iowa; Lisa Knowles, of California; Sidelle Davis Jr., of Iowa; Jenny Elmore and husband, Kerry, of Iowa; Gloria Goodlett and husband, James, of Iowa; Sam Davis, of Iowa; Latasia Pearson and wife, Courtney, of Montgomery City, MO; 18 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Sidelle was preceded in death by his parents.
