Scott Joseph Schulte, 37, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Friday, November 15, 2019, at the SSM St. Joseph's West Hospital at Lake St. Louis, MO.
Scott Joseph Schulte was born July 2, 1982 in Orange Park, Florida to Michael Schulte and Phyllis Goddard Schulte. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union and worked construction and was maintenance man at the Montgomery County R-II High School. Mr. Schulte was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Montgomery City, MO and enjoyed fishing, hunting, building things and riding his motorcycle. He loved visiting and spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter, Malorie.
Mr. Schulte is survived by his daughter, Malorie Schulte of Montgomery City, MO; parents: Michael and Phyllis Goddard Schulte of Montgomery City, MO; four sisters: Christy Schulte and fiancée, Corey Johnson, of New Florence, MO; Rachel Rakers and husband, Brian, of Montgomery City, MO; Lisa Gotsch and husband, Joe, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; and Tara Schulte of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; nieces and nephews: Jacob, Andrew, Maverick and Axton Johnson; Kendra, Keagan and Kiersten Rakers; and Sadie, Heath and Gage Gotsch; one great-nephew: Caliber Blankenship; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.
Mr. Schulte was preceded in death by his grandparents: Rose and Clarence Schulte and Bill and Dorothy Goddard; uncle, Donald Bornhop; and uncle and aunt, Tom and Marty Schulte.
A Funeral Mass was held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Montgomery City, MO. Msq. Greg Higley officiated and interment was in the High Point Cemetery, West of Montgomery City, MO. Visitation was held on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the Immaculate Conception Church. Casketbearers included Brian Rakers, Joe Gotsch, Corey Johnson, Kenneth Cobb, Daryl Schulte, and Landall Wessel. Honorary casketbearer included Jim Bornhop.
