Sarah McAdams, 82, of Martinsburg, MO, died on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Sarah Violet Jean McAdams was born February 14, 1936 in St. Louis, MO, to William Hoch and Venetta Blankenship Hoch. She married Robert James McAdams and they were married over 60 wonderful years before he preceded her in death. Mrs. McAdams was a seamstress and loved to sew and crochet. Mrs. McAdams was a member of the Life Gate International Church in St. Peters, MO; enjoyed playing bingo and bowling, reupholstering furniture, baking, cooking, gardening, and spending time with all of her family and friends.

Mrs. McAdams is survived by her children: Roberta Jean Dennis of Warrenton, MO; Robert McAdams of Montgomery City, MO; John McAdams of Martinsburg, MO; and Ed McAdams of Martinsburg, MO; grandchildren: Kari and Jason Bostic, Jamie and Doug Dickherber, J.D. and Rebecca, Mark and Felicia, Keith, Mindy, Jeannette, and Heather; Great-grandchildren: Ashley, Amber, Jesse, Michael, Nate, Kyle, Ryan, Dustin, Samantha, Linsey, and Haley; and Great-great-grandchildren: Holden James, Grace, Elijah, Mason and Anthony Jame. Also surviving is her brother, Wesley Hoch of Lake St. Louis, MO; sister, Faye Thurman of Redbud, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. McAdams was preceded in death by her parents, William and Venetta Hoch; husband, Robert James McAdams; children: Gary and Bill, and Mary; and by her sister, Mary.

Mrs. McAdams was cremated and services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018, at 7:00 PM at the Life Gate International Church, 7575 Veteran's Memorial Parkway, St. Peters, MO, with Pastor Kingsley Walker officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church.
