Sandra Gail Gibson, 83, of St. Peters, MO, died on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, MO.

Sandra Gail Neubauer Gibson was born on August 16, 1934 in St. Louis, MO, to Otto Otis Neubauer and Margaret Rhoda Fusie Neubauer. On June 30, 1951 she married Floyd Edgar Gibson in New Florence, MO, and had been married for almost 63 years when Mr. Gibson preceded her in death on March 19, 2014. Mrs. Gibson was an avid reader, great cook, and was Southern Baptist and read her Bible a lot. She loved being with all her family and friends.

Mrs. Gibson is survived by two children: Patricia "Pat" Wilmoth and husband, David, of Moscow Mills, MO; and Floyd Eugene Gibson and wife, Lonnie, of St. Peters, MO; five grandchildren: Ashley Holmes and husband, Brad; Cassie Gibson, Anna McDermott and husband, Cory; Emily Kim and husband, Do Young; and Amanda Gibson; and three great-grandchildren: Carson Wyatt Holmes, Archer Holmes, and Liam Michael Mattingly. Also surviving are her sisters: Jackie Carter of New Florence, MO; Sheila Johnson of New Florence, MO; and Sharron Wright of Mt. Vernon, IL; one brother: Michael Neubauer and wife, Linda, of Spring Valley, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Margaret Neubauer; son, Andrew Scott Gibson, and brothers, Quentin Eugene Neubauer and Keith Jeffrey Neubauer.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. The Dr. Larry Nail officiated and interment was in the Montgomery City Cemetery in Montgomery City, MO. Visitation was held on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.
