Ruby Marie Rainwater, 73, of Wellsville, MO, died on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the SSM Audrain Hospital in Mexico, MO.

Ruby Marie Howell Rainwater was born on February 21, 1947 in New Florence, MO, to Robert Edgar Howell and Vivian Lucille Mitchell Howell. Ruby worked as a teacher's aid and also drove a school bus. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and friend. Ruby was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, enjoyed genealogy, working with her flowers, and collecting rocks. She loved to be around her family and her many friends.

Ms. Rainwater is survived by her fiancée, Floyd Kevin Bushnell, of Wellsville, MO; four children: Robert Rainwater and wife, April, of Imboden, Arkansas; Leah Rainwater of Wellsville, MO; Melissa Lucas and husband, Mitch, of Holts Summit, MO; and John Rainwater and wife, Kristy, of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Richard Howell and wife, Shirley, of Circle Pines, Minnesota; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ms. Rainwater was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edgar Howell and Vivian Lucille Mitchell Howell.

Memorial services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Mr. John Slovensky officiated. The family received friends on Monday from Noon until the time of service at the Schlanker Funeral Home.
