Ruby Mae Harvey, 77, of Jefferson City, MO, died on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the Capital Regional Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.

Ruby Mae Harvey was born on November 9, 1943 in Montgomery City, MO, to Darnell Petris and Lucille Jennings Petris.  She was one out of thirteen siblings.  Ruby was a great homemaker, loved to play cards (a very good card shark); and loved to go to church.  She loved being with ALL of her family and friends and enjoyed getting on the dance floor with them all as she was a great dancer.  Ruby left us way too soon and wanted everyone to know that she loved them all and would still like to be here with you.

Ms. Harvey is survived by six children; twenty grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Darlene Allen of Topeka, Kansas; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ms. Harvey was preceded in death by her parents, Darnell Petris and Lucille Jennings Petris and  eleven brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.
