Rosa Lee Timmons, 56, of Charleston, South Carolina, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in New Florence, MO.

Rosa Lee "Shannon" Timmons was born on September 13, 1962 in Charleston, South Carolina to Bill Penland and Bobbie Jean Cardin Penland.  She received her Reiki Massage Therapy in College and was a well known stained glass and sculpting artist throughout America.  Even though she was born in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a very proud resident of Taos, New Mexico.  She was an amazing mother and grandmother "Oma" who loved her daughter and granddaughters more than anything.  She enjoyed traveling to visit with her family and friends.  She never met a stranger and would go out of her way to help anyone who was in need.  Shannon was a very loving, generous, courageous, intelligent, and strong woman.  She will be greatly missed by everyone.  May her spirit soar on the wings of angels.

Rosa is survived by her daughter, Alexis Leigh Timmons of Charleston, South Carolina; three granddaughters: Amber Leigh 18 years old of Charleston, South Carolina; Allison Kay 16 years old of Charleston, South Carolina; and Savanna Dawn 13 years old of Owensboro, Kentucky; and many other relatives and friends.  Also surviving is her service dog, Sugar, she was very much a part of her family.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Bobbie Jean Cardin Penland.

Rosa was cremated and there will not be any services at this time.
