Ronald John Parks, 77, of Montgomery City, Missouri, died on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at his home.

Ronald John Parks was born on June 22, 1944. Ron married Ruth Guthrie-Parks on March 22, 2020, at Reach Church in Montgomery City, Missouri, where him and his wife were both members.  He enjoyed spending time at Mark Twain Lake and going fishing. He had a 10-year-old black lab, Bullet, that he spent most of his time with and loved dearly.

Mr. Parks is survived by his wife: Ruth Guthrie-Parks; step-grandchildren: Michelle (Joseph) Green, Ron (Megan) Moore, Zachary (Cassie) Moore; step-great-grandchildren: Amber Green, Dakota Green, Dylan Green, Alexa Green, Serena Green; 10 step-great-great-grandchildren; step-children: William R. Callaway II and Maggie M. Burris; and his dog, Bullet.

Mr. Parks was preceded in death by his late wife of 30 years, Elvera Parks; step-daughter, Debra Moore; son-in-law, Ronald Moore; and his dog of 21 years, Missy.

Mr. Parks will be cremated and there will not be any services at this time.
