Ronald Gene Broz, 62, of Pacific, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

Ron was born on August 25, 1962, in Troy, Missouri, to Frank Clarence Broz and Anna Belle (Maddux) Broz. He graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 1981. He lived most of his life in Montgomery City and Bellflower, Missouri, before moving to Pacific to be with his children and grandchildren, whom he loved deeply.

A self-employed carpenter by trade, Ron poured his creativity and hard work into everything he built. He was known not just for his skill and craftsmanship, but for his relentless work ethic and the pride he took in caring for his family. He faced many struggles throughout his life, but through courage and the love of his family, he made a strong and inspiring comeback.

Ron had a goofy, lighthearted spirit and a deep love of music and reading. He enjoyed going fishing and found peace in the outdoors. He was deeply spiritual and felt a profound connection to nature. He was someone who saw beauty in the simple things.

He was the kind of person who would do anything to help someone in need. He would give you the shirt off his back—even if it meant he had to go without. That's just who he was: loving, caring, kind, and selfless. Ron loved his family fiercely and unconditionally.

Ron is survived by his two children: Stephanie (Daniel Bates) Broz and Jamie Broz, both of the home; grandchildren: Anna Bates, Julian Broz, Tristan Bates, Mackenze Bates, Maya Bates, Samuel Bates, Cheyenne Bates, all of the home; siblings: Don (Lila) Broz of Montgomery City, Bob (Karen) Broz of Columbia, Lois (Roger) Oden of Bellflower, Ann (Randy) Beeman of Bellflower, Mike (Kelly) Broz of Virginia; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Belle Broz, brothers: Frank W. Broz, Bill Broz, and Rick Broz, and an infant daughter, Christine Broz.
