Rob Berta Faye Maddux, 88, of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on February 2, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on December 1, 1937, in Frankford, Missouri, to Joseph Broz and Gertrude Porkorney. On November 10, 1957, she married the love of her life, Donald Maddux, in Montgomery City. They shared more than sixty wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2021—a partnership filled with devotion, adventure, and love.

Together, Rob Berta and Donald traveled extensively, as Donald was serving in the United States Air Force, exploring the world side by side and creating a lifetime of memories. They truly lived full and adventurous lives. Though Rob Berta worked many jobs over the years, her greatest joy and proudest role was being a homemaker and raising her family.

Rob Berta was an avid reader—it was her passion—and could often be found with a book close at hand. After making Montgomery County her home, she happily became a homebody, finding comfort and contentment there. She also spent many years volunteering with Family Services through the Air Force, generously giving her time in service to others.

Rob Berta's life was like an amazing book—rich with love, travel, service, and quiet moments of joy. Now, with her story beautifully told, it is time for her book to close. She will be remembered for her dedication to family, her love of reading, her gentle spirit, and the life she lived so fully.

Rob Berta is survived by her children: Mike (Cathy) Maddux of Rhineland, MO, Donna Branson of Montgomery City, MO; grandchildren: Regina (Aaron) Rueth of Seattle, WA, Angela (James) Wagaman of St. Charles, MO, Brandyn (Julie) Churchill of Mexico, MO, LaTyshia Churchill of Montgomery City, MO, Nathanyel Kennedy of Hermann, MO, Cheyanne Kennedy of New Florence, MO, Logyn Horn of Montgomery City, MO, Allyson Branson of Swiss, MO; great-grandchildren: Jema Rueth, Ruby Rueth, Addison Wagaman, Piper Wagaman, Ellie Wagaman, Kaydence Churchill, Nauney Churchill, Bryden Churchill, Skylynn Churchill, Zyrynn Churchill, Jaylynn Conder, Jordynn Conder, Quyntynn Churchill, Xavyer Kennedy, Kinsley Mitchell, Hunter Branson, Noah Branson, Ryver Branson; siblings: Mary Miller of Texas, and Johnny Broz of Yellville, AR.
