Richard (Rick) Angus Wilson, 69, of Montgomery City, Missouri, peacefully passed away surrounded by family at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri on Monday, May 17, 2021.

Richard Wilson was born in Mexico, Missouri, on December 27, 1951, son of Angus Vincent Wilson and Ruth Pauline (Varner) Wilson. Rick married Linda Sue Penn on his birthday, December 27, in 1972, in Miami, Oklahoma. They spent 48 loving years together before his passing.  He started his own business and worked as an owner-operator, driving trucks. From a young age, Rick had a passion for racing cars. He especially loved Corvettes, and taking his out for a drive. He always had a book next to him, and if he wasn't reading or watching TV, you could find him playing a baseball game on his PlayStation. Rick also took great joy visiting with friends and family.

Rick is survived by his wife, Linda Wilson of Montgomery City, MO; daughter, Monica Wilson of Wentzville, MO; Monica's six children: Devin, Bailey, Madeline, Gabrielle, Isabella, and Kensington; daughter, Shawna, and husband Dan Isaac of Fulton, MO, their daughter Victoria; daughter, Lacey, and husband Jeff Flaugher of Holts Summit, MO; and their three children: Hannah, Natalie, and Lucas.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, Angus and Ruth Pauline Wilson.

Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Montgomery City. Jacob Meyer will officiate the service.
