Richard Harold Frentzel, 76, of Big Spring, MO, died on Friday, April 26, 2019, at his home surrounded by family.
Richard Harold Frentzel was born June 18, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, to Paul Frentzel and JoHanna Pabst Frentzel. He graduated from Beaumont High School in St. Louis, MO. Richard married Audrey Stewart on March 8, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Richard was a meat cutter for Dierberg's for many years and then was owner of Kane's Korner in Spanish Lake, MO, for years. He was a member of the Shriner's; Montgomery Masonic Lodge; enjoyed hunting, fishing, bear hunting and telling stories of his hunting trips to Michigan and Canada. Richard loved spending time with his family and all his friends.
Mr. Frentzel is survived by his wife of over 31 wonderful years, Audrey Stewart Frentzel of Big Spring, MO; children: Christen Carey and fiancée, Sean Ball of St. Charles, MO; Kim Mullen of New Haven, MO; Doran Miller of O'Fallon, MO; and grandchildren: Sean Ball, Jr., Dominic Carey, and James and Jared Mullen. Also surviving is his siblings: Victor Frentzel, Loraine Peterson, and Ruth Frentzel and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Frentzel was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and JoHanna Pabst Frentzel; brother, Paul Frentzel, Jr.; and father-in-law, Ray Stewart.
Masonic Services will be held at 1:00 PM followed by the funeral service on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Interment will be in the Montgomery City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers include Dominic Carey, Sean Ball, Blake Brown, Sean Ball, Jr., James Mullen, Jerod Mullen and Ben Longstreet.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, c/o Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, MO 63361.
