Rhonda Dee Kobusch, of Montgomery City, MO quietly passed from this world on April 8th, 2026, at the age of 63. She was born to the union of Leroy Melvin Wright and Mildred Jean Zweifel at 2:23 pm at the US Army Base in Honolulu, (Oahu) Hawaii on June 3, 1962.

Rhonda's family made their home in New Florence, MO. She was later joined by a brother Rodney Lee Wright in 1965. Rhonda doted on her little brother and enjoyed being a big sister.

Rhonda graduated from Montgomery Co R-2 High School. She began working at New Florence Nursing & Care Center, later earning her CNA license. In the summer of 1986 Rhonda was married to Dennis H Kobusch in Hermann MO. They later divorced but raised the boys jointly.

Rhonda's life was a tapestry of simple joys — reading and copying recipes, watching her soaps on TV, beautifully crocheting baby blankets for her grandnieces and nephew, crossword and word search puzzles, whooping you in rummy, and other card games with laughter. She had a fondness for yard sales, and getting a good bargain. She enjoyed the clearance section at big box stores. She was very proud of her grandchildren and was happy when she heard from them by text or talking to them on the phone. She had a digital photo frame playing photos of her grandchildren constantly next to her recliner chair. She was never without pens, pencils, and notebooks to write notes and reminders to herself on. She diligently sent birthday cards to her loved ones, cut out photos, obituaries & saved notices of her family from the newspapers. Before her health declined, she enjoyed walking and visiting with friends. Rhonda was boisterous and always gave her opinion whether you wanted to hear it or not. She was blessed with a good set of eyes and ears that could see and hear anything.

One of Rhonda's proudest moments was when she was handed the keys to her own brand-new house. She was one of 3 families that participated in the first stage of building their own homes in Fairview Estates in 2005.

Rhonda is survived by her sons Adam Kobusch, of Garden City, MO, Kyle Kobusch of Belton, MO. Her grandchildren Axyl Denny Kobusch and Wesley Hunter Kobusch of Garden City, MO. Blayke Lee Kobusch, Aydin Avery Kobusch, Kynlee Rayn Kobusch all of Belton, MO. She is also survived by her father Leroy Melvin Wright, Sister-in-law, Freda L Wright (Tom Latham), Nieces & Nephews, Nikole (Nickle) L Wright Bohnert (Scott), Joshua L Wright (Hannah), Johannah L Wright Fults (Andrew) all of Montgomery City, MO. Grandnieces and Nephew, Addilynn Wright, Hazel Burch, Aubrey Wright, Morgan Fults, Leroy Alan Wright all of Montgomery City, MO. She was also survived by her very devoted and loved dog Milo.

Wherever Rhonda was, Milo was underfoot and loved to go for car rides and his treats. Milo is being cared for by her friend Robert "Jake" Pritchett.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Mother- Mildred Zwiefel Wright, her very missed brother Rodney Wright, Grandparents, and great nephew Rodney Arlie Fults.

Private Services will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest next to her mother and brother at New Florence Cemetery.
