Reverend Allen Leo Laramore, 65, of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.

Allen "Rusty" Laramore was born October 24, 1956, son of Grayson Lee Laramore and Lillie Ada Laramore (Gibson) in Walden, Colorado. He was the youngest of nine children. On February 14, 1982, he married the love of his life, Patricia Ann DeLong, in Warrenton, Missouri. Together they raised four children: Mitchell, Michelle, April, and Anthony. He and Patricia also cared for Mary DeLong, sister-in-law. Rusty followed God's calling and became a minister in 1993, when he founded Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Montgomery City, Missouri. He ministered to multitudes in the community and over 100 people received the gift of the Holy Ghost at his church; this was his greatest accomplishment and joy as a shepherd of God. He and Patricia also founded We Care Ministries and Food Bank in 2004, which served up to 300 families per month in the community. He retired from Holland Binkley in Warrenton, Missouri after 20 years of service. While employed there, he received several service awards and commendations. He enjoyed fishing, bowfishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities, Bible study, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Rusty is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Laramore; his four children: Mitchell (Leah) Laramore of Fulton, Missouri; Michelle (Marty) Burke of Montgomery City, Missouri; April (Charlie) Leverett of Columbia, Missouri; and Anthony (Kelly) Laramore of Moscow Mills, Missouri; 15 grandchildren: Alexia, Melanie, Athena, Justice, Yanasha, Christian, Meckhi, Damian, Joy, William, Noah, Grace, Avery, Jack, and Millie; and two sisters: Grace (Fred) Mueller of Sheridan, Wyoming and Dolly (Ed) Swearingim of Roundup, Montana.

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Grayson and Lillie Laramore; six siblings: Edna (Paul) Jackson; Donald (Sue) Laramore; Sonny (Anh) Laramore; Duke (Kathy) Laramore; Butch (Brooke) Laramore; and Linda (Bill) Burns.

"The passing of Bishop Laramore, Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, leaves us with great sadness in this life. However, Brother Laramore was a man passionate for God and lived for Him with all his heart. His testimony remains in his absence and may the life he lived be a witness to all who knew him. Until we meet again, my friend, somewhere around the throne."

A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, 121 West 4 ^th Street, Montgomery City, MO   63361.
