Raymond L. Nettles, 74, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.

Raymond L. Nettles was born on December 1, 1947 in Potosi, Missouri to Lester Nettles and Ruby Lawson Nettles.  He graduated from Valley High School in Caledonia, Missouri and was a truck driver for most of his life.  Mr. Nettles married Christine Tiepelman Coffman in July of 2012 in Wyoming and have been married for over nine wonderful years.  Mr. Nettles was a hard worker, enjoyed guitar music, and socializing with his many friends.

Mr. Nettles is survived by his wife, Christine Tiepelman Coffman of Montgomery City, MO; three children:  Rob Nettles of Farmington, MO; Julia Bethel and husband, Gary, of St. Genevieve, MO; and John Nettles of Marble Hill, MO; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are his brothers and sisters:  Vernon Nettles and wife, Bessie, of Potosi, MO; Truma Robison of Middlebrook, MO; Rita Shy and husband, Jim, of Potosi, MO; Rosie Nettles of Park Hills, MO; and Chuck Winick and wife, Linda, of Potosi, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Nettles was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ruby Lawson Nettles; daughter, Anna Nettles; and brothers and sisters: Earline Myers, Joan Barton, Archie Winick and Lawrence Winick.

Mr. Nettles will be cremated and per his request no services will be held.
