Paul G. Morabito, 79, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the St. Andrews New Florence Care Center in New Florence, MO.

Paul G. Morabito was born in Queens County, New York on July 6, 1939, to Paul Morabito and Nancy Spano Morabito. After graduation from high school, he received a Bachelor's degree from college. Mr. Morabito was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving from February 18, 1958 until June 26, 1962. He married Regina DeBlasio and to this union three daughters were born, Dawn, Christine and Karina. Mr. Morabito retired from the Montgomery County Youth Center as a Behavioral Therapist, but had worked many other jobs. He started out farming, ran a Pizzeria in Louisiana, MO and an Italian Restaurant in Bowling Green, MO; and was an ordained Minister. He loved music and could play several instruments including the keyboard, guitar, accordion, and the zypher. Mr. Morabito delivered meals for the Montgomery County Senior Center, volunteered for the Youth In Need Program, was a volunteer for the Red Cross, and had a band called "Summerset".

Mr. Morabito is survived by four daughters: Dawn Morabito of the State of Washington; Christine Morabito of Massachusetts; Karina Edmond of Missouri; and his adopted daughter, Donna Wright of Missouri; and three grandchildren: Darby Edmond, Taylor Edmond, and Callie Edmond. Also surviving is his sister: Karen Palazzo of Florida; his brother, Larry Morabito of New York; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Morabito was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Nancy Morabito.

A Visitation was held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Military Honors followed at 3:00 PM on Wednesday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.
