Paul 'Ted' Leonard Daleen, 78, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at SSM St. Joseph West at Lake St. Louis, Missouri.
Paul 'Ted' Leonard Daleen was born on July 21, 1943 in Carrollton, MO, to Leonard Daleen and Leorein Curry Daleen. He graduated from High School and later married Charlotte Mikel in Chesterfield, MO, on July 22, 1972 and were married for over 49 years. Mr. Daleen enjoyed race cars and fishing. Ted loved to read. He also loved spending time with all his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Mr. Daleen is survived by his wife, Charlotte Mikel Daleen of Montgomery City, MO; his children: Daniel Daleen of Montgomery City, MO; Rick Daleen and wife, Kelly, of O'Fallon, MO; David Daleen and wife, Clare of Gaston, SC; Donnia Shamp and husband, Jerome, of Bellflower, MO; and Daryl Daleen and wife, Mara, of Beaufort, SC; grandchildren: Angel Osborn and husband, Nick; Jackson Daleen; Emma Daleen; Sabrina Shamp and fiancé, Dylan Horn; Seth Shamp; Rebecca Littrell; Davidmephi Daleen; Daedric Daleen and Arya Daleen; and great-grandchildren: Lilly Horn, James Horn, Anna Horn and Zoie Horn. Also surviving is his brother, Gaylord Daleen and wife, Karen, of St. Charles, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mr. Daleen was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Leorein Curry Daleen.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Boys and Girls Club of St. Charles County, 1211 Lindenwood Avenue, St. Charles, MO 63301.
Schlanker Funeral Home of Montgomery City, MO, was in charge of the arrangements.
