Patrick Charles Korte, 62, of Bellflower, MO, died on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at his home surrounded by family.

Patrick Charles Korte was born September 30, 1955 in Florissant, MO, to Carl Korte and Bernice Ellebracht Korte. He graduated from McClure North High School and then attended St. Louis Community College earning his funeral directors license. For 30 years he worked as an EMT for St. Louis County EMS and Christian Hospital. He married Julie Zagorski on October 24, 1992 in Florissant, MO, and have been married for over 25 wonderful years. Patrick was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Martinsburg, MO; a member of the Bellflower Fire Board; and was an avid historian. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Julie Zagorski Korte of Bellflower, MO; two daughters: Samantha Rose Korte and her fiancée, Tyler Peterson; and Elaine Marie Korte, both of Bellflower, MO; his Mother, Bernice Ellebracht Korte of Florissant, MO; two sisters: Susan Perkins and Jane Vogt and husband, Rick, all of Florissant, MO; nieces and nephews: Paul, Mark, Collette, Cheryl (Goddaughter), Brian, Kevin, Justin, Katie (Goddaughter), Alex, and Kristen; and great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Also surviving is his Mother-in-law, Frances Zagorski of Caseyville, IL; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law: Margaret Duckworth and husband, Tom, of Collinsville, IL; Tony Zagorski of DeSoto, MO and daughter, Renee (Goddaughter); Greg Zagorski and wife, Debra, of Villa Ridge, IL; Rich Zagorski and wife, Dianna, of O'Fallon, IL; Joseph Zagorski and wife, Kimberly, of O'Fallon, IL; Paul Zagorski of Anchorage, Alaska; Jim Zagorski of Caseyville, IL; Rose Goodwin and husband, Bill, of Charlestown, Indiana; Larry Zagorski of Caseyville, IL; Valentine Zagorski and wife, Chrissy, of Collinsville, IL; Victoria Zagorski of Caseyville, IL; and Victor Zagorski and wife, Bethany, of Bessemer, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Patrick was preceded in death by his Father, Carl Korte; a Brother, James Korte; and Father-in-law, Joseph Zagorski.

A Memorial Mass was held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Martinsburg, MO, with Father Joseph officiating. A Rosary was said at 8:45 AM on Wednesday with visitation following from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg, MO.
