Patricia Kay
Leffew
Jun 18, 1952 — Jan 8, 2025
Patricia Kay Leffew, 72, of Bellflower, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side.
Patricia was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on June 18, 1952, the daughter of Clifford Cleo Leffew and Williemae (Johnson) Leffew. She had a journey that took her across multiple states, from Tennessee to Florida to Michigan, before finally settling in Bellflower, Missouri, 24 years ago with her children.
Her professional life was spent working in a factory, where she contributed to the production of car doors for Mercedes-Benz. But beyond her job, it was her love for family and the simple joys of life that defined her.
Patricia had a strong connection to country music, especially the tunes of Dolly Parton, and she enjoyed the suspense and drama of criminal television shows like Chicago Fire. Her love for animals, particularly her dogs, was another cherished part of her life.
However, the most important aspects of her life were her loved ones—Patricia's love for her family was the heart of her life. Above all else, her family meant the world to her, and she poured her love, time, and care into being a devoted mother and grandmother, always gentle and kind. She treasured every moment spent with them, and is a cherished and irreplaceable presence in their lives.
Patricia's life was one of warmth, kindness, and devotion, qualities that those who knew her will undoubtedly remember and cherish.
Patricia is survived by her children: Talya Sparks and James Leffew of the home, Desiree Sparks of Dayton, Ohio, Stacy Leitch of Dayton, Ohio, Amy (Richard) Hines of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Tony Leitch of Albuquerque, Nee Mexico; and her grandchildren: Patricia Leffew of the home, Dujanah Williams and Ruquayya Williams of Dayton, Ohio, Emma Ronan, Kegan Ronan, and Rian Ronan of Dayton, Ohio, Rebecca Hines, Steven Hines, and Elizabeth Hines of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Williemae Leffew.
She will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
