Norman Joe Frank, 76, of Benton City, MO, formerly of Buell, MO, died on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at his sister's home in Benton City, MO.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Friday at Schlanker Funeral Home with Rev. David Knight officiating. Burial followed in Montgomery City Cemetery.

Visitation was Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Norman Joe Frank was born January 28, 1941 in Independence, KS, to Everett Frank and Myrtle Mae Eaton Frank. When Joe was a couple years old his family moved from Kansas to Montgomery County, MO, by covered wagon. Joe retired from the City of Montgomery after working 35 years doing maintenance in the water/sewer department. Joe loved the outdoors hunting and fishing. He loved to work on motors and old tractors, he was a member of the Old Threshers Association.

Joe is survived by one sister, Elsie Frank Lott and her husband, Al, of Benton City, MO; and a number of nieces and nephews, Vicki, Eugene, Patsy, Juanita, Sharon, Bobby, Phillip, Linda, Carol, Doris, and Kathryn; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Viola Frank Wagener and four brothers: Alfred Eugene Frank, Marvin Frank, Bobby Lee Frank, and Carl Richard Frank.
