Nancy Jean Morris, 53, of Columbia, MO, died on Friday, August 6, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

Nancy Jean Baker Morris was born on July 7, 1968, in Mexico, MO, to John Edward Baker and Marjorie Marie Freie Baker Blaue.  She graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 1986.  She then went on to receive her Associates degree in Accounting from East Central College in 1997. She was also an accomplished writer, seamstress and pianist.  She married Glen R. Morris on July 11, 2012 at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and they have been married for over nine wonderful years.  Nancy was a member of The Crossing Church in Columbia, MO, worked for a period at the Callaway Nuclear Plant, enjoyed writing children's books, was very active in her children's lives and their school, enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles, and was a great wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend.  She will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Glen R. Morris of Columbia, MO; children: Sydney Seina and husband, John, of Columbia, MO; Sophie Muskopf of Columbia, MO; Troy Muskopf of Columbia, MO, and the father of her children, Walt Muskopf of Columbia, MO.  Also surviving are her parents, John Baker and wife, Patty, of Wellsville, MO; Marjorie Blaue and husband, Melvin, of Montgomery City, MO; brother, Karl Baker and wife, Tammy, of Montgomery City, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the Old Auxvasse Nine Mile Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg, MO.  Pastor Dave Cover will officiate and interment will be in the Williamsburg Cemetery in Williamsburg, MO.
