Muriel June Clark Marlow was born August 29, 1930, in High Hill, MO, to Boyd S. Clark and Maude Norman Clark and passed away on November 23, 2018.
She married Joe A. Marlow, Jr. on October 1, 1950 in Montgomery City, MO. He preceded her in death on February 5, 2007, after 56 years of marriage.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Montgomery City, a member of P.E.O. Chapter CI and worked as the Probate & Magistrate Clerk of Montgomery County for nine years. She then worked in her and her husband's business, Marlow Plumbing Wallpaper and Paint.
She and Joe moved to the St. Charles, MO, area in 2003 to be closer to their family.
Mrs. Marlow is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo Jordan and husband, Mike. Her grandchildren, Meredith Thiesfeld and fiancée, Kenny Shepherd; Jamie Jordan and Joe Jordan and wife, Colleen. She also leaves her great-grandchildren: Ian Colley, Cole Thiesfeld, Blake Shepherd and Jackson Jordan, along with several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Marlow was preceded in death, besides her husband, were her parents, brother, Arlye Clark and sister, Mary Lou Walkup.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. The Reverend Jimmy Cooper officiated and interment was in the Montgomery City Cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers included Joe Jordan, Jamie Jordan, Meredith Thiesfeld, Cole Thiesfeld, Ian Colley, and Kenny Shepherd.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in her name to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or to the Charity of Your Choice, c/o Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, MO 63361.
