Muriel Elaine (Baugh) Kaiser, 80, of rural Jonesburg, MO, died on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.

Muriel Elaine (Baugh) Kaiser was born on February 13, 1941 in Clarksville, MO, the oldest daughter of T.J. "Tinker" and Floy (Percy) Baugh.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Richard of 55 years, her mother and father-in-law Charles and Sylvia (Witte) Kaiser, her sister Charlotte and brother-in-law Lynn Branson.

Muriel's family moved to Bellflower, MO, where her parents grew up, in January of 1947. Muriel attended school there until county consolidation.  She graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 1959.

Muriel was married to Richard Lee Kaiser in Jonesburg, MO, on October 10, 1959, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  Muriel and Richard were faithful members of the church throughout their marriage.

Muriel grew up working on the farm with her father.  She worked at Binkley's and the ASCS Office in Montgomery City for a few years while she and Richard established their own family farm. She then turned her full attention to the farm and her family. Muriel was an integral part of the farming operation, from driving a tractor and hauling grain to serving meals in the field and recordkeeping.  She was also the administrator and bookkeeper for Richard's Garst Seed Company Business.

Muriel was a woman of many talents.  She played the organ and piano for church and community events.  She was an accomplished seamstress and gardener.  She canned countless quarts of vegetables and pints of jelly, and many farmhands and friends enjoyed her meals. She and Richard enjoyed country music and especially dancing.  Muriel was a member of the Ladies Aid at St. Paul's, a charter member and former president of Women's Ag of Montgomery County, and a member of the TIE club of Bellflower.

Muriel is survived by four daughters and their husbands; Christina Kaiser and Andrew McQuie of Fayetteville, AR; Phyllis Reagan and Dennis, of Montgomery City, MO; Nancy D'Rosario and Mark, of Severance CO; and Karen Payne and Ken, of Shreveport, LA; nine grandchildren; Nicole Larkin (Brian), Stan Reagan (Kaley); Troy Reagan (Ashley), Lauren, Alec and Maria D'Rosario, Allison, James Richard and Gracie Payne; seven great-grandchildren; Jackson and Levi Larkin, Keaton and Karter Reagan, Cash, Beau and Charlie Reagan; two nephews; Andrew (Bonnie) Branson and Bruce Branson and their families, along with numerous cousins and friends.

Muriel spoke what was on her mind in a way that made her a great friend to many.  She loved all her children, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all their pets.  She said of her life, "I wouldn't trade one second of it" and was looking forward to dancing with Richard in Heaven.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, 9 a.m. followed by funeral services at noon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jonesburg, MO.  Interment will be in the Jonesburg City Cemetery in Jonesburg, MO.

Casket bearers include Stan Reagan, Troy Reagan, Brian Larkin, Alec D'Rosario, James Richard Payne, and Dan Ridgley.
