Michael K. Kolling, 69, of Warrenton, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, with family by his side.

Mike was born on November 2, 1955, in Mexico, Missouri, to Dennis W. Kolling and Vera (Harman) Kolling.

Mike graduated from Wellsville-Middletown High School in 1973. He married Kathy McCreary on June 14, 1980, in Martinsburg, Missouri. Mike and Kathy set up housekeeping in Wellsville, Missouri, on the family farm with their three sons, where they lived until 2018, at which time they moved into the town of Wellsville, then to Warrenton, Missouri, where they reside. Mike worked at the Warrenton Post Office and retired December 31, 2008, after 23 years of service.

Mike is survived by his wife, Kathy, and their three sons: Jeffery Kolling and wife, Jesse, of Warrenton, Missouri, Martin Kolling of Warrenton, Missouri, and Scott Kolling and wife, Samantha, of Paris, Missouri; five grandchildren: Zachary Kolling of Wellsville, Missouri, Sara Kolling of St. Louis, Missouri, Chloe Kolling of Warrenton, Missouri, Elena Kolling of Paris, Missouri, and a grandson on the way in Paris, Missouri; sisters: Margorie Clark of Martinsburg, Missouri, Patty Bax and husband, Larry, of Holts Summit, Missouri, and Nancy Johnson and husband, James, of Mexico, Missouri; Mother, Vera Kolling of New Florence, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Dennis W. Kolling, mother-in-law, Florence E. McCreary, and grandparents, Ruth and Leonard Kolling, Caroline and Foster Harman, and a brother-in-law, John Clark.

The family will receive family and friends for visitation on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be August 15, 2025, at 1:00pm at Schlanker Funeral Home. Interment immediately following the service at the Prices Branch Cemetery.
