Mary Virginia Williams Overkamp, 96, of New Florence, MO, died at 2:45 P.M. on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at her residence in New Florence, MO, surrounded by family.

Mary Virginia Williams Overkamp was born on September 4, 1925, in High Hill, MO.  She was a daughter of Charlie Thomas Williams and Lady Mae Hart Williams.  She was married on September 29, 1942, in Hermann, MO, to Gervas John Overkamp, who preceded her in death on January 26, 2003.  She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and a hard worker and helping her husband farm as a grain and livestock farmer.  She enjoyed square dancing, music, crafts, quilting, embroidering, and reading.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Overkamp is survived by four sons:  Jerome Overkamp and his wife, Jacqueline, of New Florence; Ronald Wayne Overkamp and his wife, Marilyn, of Hermann, MO; Randy Overkamp and wife, Robin, of Montgomery City, MO; and David Overkamp of New Florence, MO; three daughters: Judy Brennan and her husband, Don, of Cuba, MO; Joyce Elaine Worley and her husband, Robert, of New Florence, MO; Gail Jean Grennan and her husband, Richard, of Montgomery City, MO; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Virginia Williams of California; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Overkamp was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Thomas Williams and Lady Mae Hart Williams; husband, Gervas John Overkamp; son, Charles Daniel Overkamp; by twin grandsons: Glennon Virgil and Robert Joseph Overkamp; brother, Ernest Williams and Sister, Charlene Creech.

Private Graveside services will be held at the New Florence Cemetery in New Florence, MO.  The Reverend Darrel Deeker will officiate.  There will not be any visitation.  Casketbearers include Jason Kelley, Charles Kelley, Clinton Overkamp, Curtis Overkamp, Joshua Jeffords, Jeremy Watson, Alex Overkamp and Chris Watson.
