Mary Lou Lay Conley, 86, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the Noble Health Audrain Hospital in Mexico, MO.

Mary Lou Lay Conley was born on July 27, 1935 to Claude Lay and Velma Haire Lay.  She graduated from Steelville High School in Steelville, MO.  She worked in the accounting department at Monsanto and retired from being the Manager of Medicine Shoppe in Montgomery City, MO. Mary Lou enjoyed sewing and anything to do with her family.   She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Mary Lou is survived by her children:  Donald Powell and wife, Sandy, of St. Peters, MO; Vicki Hodge of Montgomery City, MO; Mike Powell of Montgomery City, MO; and David Powell and wife, Carla of St. Charles, MO.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jonathon and Daniel Powell and other numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Lay and Velma Haire Lay and her brothers, Harold Lay, Dennis Lay and David Lay.

Mary Lou was cremated and there will not be any services at this time.
