Mary Angela Clardy, 84, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Friday, April 19, 2019, at her home surrounded by family.

Mary Angela Clardy was born May 8, 1934 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky to Damon A. Hinton and Mary Agnes Coons Hinton. She married Melvin Eugene Clardy on June 16, 1962 in Louisville, KY. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. Mary was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Montgomery City, MO. She enjoyed fishing, going to garage sales, and working with her many beautiful flowers.

Mrs. Clardy is survived by her husband, Melvin Eugene Clardy of Montgomery City, MO; children: Mary Ann (Steve), Susan, Gerdy, and Donna; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Also surviving are two special friends Sylvia Hinton and Dorothy Wyman.

Mrs. Clardy is preceded in death by her parents, Damon A. Hinton and Mary Agnes Coons Hinton; and her siblings: Paul Hinton, James Hinton, Johnny Hinton, Joseph Hinton, Louise Morgan, Helen McAdams, Josephine Board, Theresa McArthur and Peggy Russell.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Montgomery City Cemetery. The Reverend Father Augustine Okoli officiated. No visitation will be held.
