Mary Earline Hickey, 97, of New Florence, MO, died on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the St. Andrews New Florence Care Center in New Florence, MO.

Mary Earline Hickey was born May 14, 1922 in Paducah, Kentucky to Valvan Baldridge and Mayme Opal Ransom Baldridge. She married Edward Robert Hickey on September 5, 1942 in St. Charles, MO, and were married over 55 wonderful years when he preceded in death on January 2, 1998. Mrs. Hickey was a member of the First United Methodist Presbyterian Church in Montgomery City, MO. Mrs. Hickey had been very active in the Montgomery City Lady Lioness Club, Creve Coeur Auxiliary 397, enjoyed reading, was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan, and was a very hard worker. She enjoyed working in her garden, lawn, flowers and especially loved visiting with all her friends and family.

Mrs. Hickey is survived by two children: Penny Sue Miller of St. Louis, MO; and Michael Hickey and wife, Patti, of St. Louis, MO; daughter-in-law, Mary Hickey of Fort Myers, FL; Grandchildren: Tim Hickey and wife, Nicole, Jennifer Matlock, Michaela Hickey, Matthew Hickey and wife, Lauren, Paige Lipson and husband, Jeremy, Andy Miller and wife, Keitha, Mark Miller and wife, Samantha, and Michael Miller; great-grandchildren: Madison Matlock, Amanda Hickey, Savannah Nippa, Kali Aliberti, Jaxson Lipson, Jordan Hickey, Robert Miller, Suzanna Miller and Harper Miller. Also surviving is her cousin, Barbara Gramling of Bellefontaine Neighbors, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Hickey was preceded in death by her parents, Valvan and Mayme Baldridge; her husband, Edward Robert Hickey; and son, Edward Hickey, Jr.

Funeral services were held on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Presbyterian Church, 300 North Columbus Avenue, Montgomery City, MO   63361. Interment was in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, North of Montgomery City, MO. Visitation was held on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the First United Methodist Presbyterian Church in Montgomery City, MO.
