Mary Elizabeth (Snyder) Fahrenholtz, 94, of Truxton, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, peacefully at her home.

Mary was born on January 11, 1930, in Batchtown, Illinois, the daughter of Peter Snyder and Mary (Pohlman) Snyder. She spent many years working as assistant to the recorder of deeds for Lincoln County. On June 3, 1950, she married Robert "Bob" E. Randall and welcomed 3 children into the world before his passing in 1983. On April 9, 1988, she married Bruce K. Fahrenholtz and from this union gained 3 more loving stepchildren. Mary and Bruce spent 36 wonderful years together full of love and laughter.

Mrs. Fahrenholtz loved to garden and hunt. She also enjoyed fishing, as long as she wasn't in the water. Mary was fond of crocheting and always found time to read her favorite books. She and Bruce spent many days watching the hummingbirds, deer, and other wildlife from their back porch. She found joy and beauty in the simple things in life.

Fahrenholtz of the home; two daughters: Ruth Lynch and Chris Burkemper, both of Cuba, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Pam Walls of Tennessee; stepdaughter, Denise Fahrenholtz of Old Monroe, Missouri; two stepsons: Jeff (Chris) Fahrenholtz of Hermann, Missouri, Scott (Lori) Fahrenholtz of Winfield, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mary Snyder, her first husband, Bob Randall, and one son, Bobby Randall.
