Martha Lorraine "Punkey" Boes, 72, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.

Martha Lorraine Boes was born on April 21, 1949, in Warrenton, MO, to Harold Heidbrink and Mildred Blake Heidbrink.  She graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School and married George Boes in Warrenton on September 27, 1969, they have been married for over 52 wonderful years.  Punkey worked for Daniel Deiter as a secretary for many years before she retired.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, enjoyed making cards for the Relay of Life Cancer Society, loved Christmas and was a professional grandmother.  Punkey loved her family and friends and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Mrs. Boes is survived by her husband, George Boes of Montgomery City, MO; children: Donna Whitehead and husband, Jerry, of St. Peters, MO; Cassi Aitken of Wentzville, MO; and Danny Boes of Montgomery City, MO; grandchildren: Ashley Whitehead, Meagan Moose and husband, Logan, Molly Whitehead, Austin Boes and wife, Emily, Morgan Aitken, Kendra Aitken, and Reese Aitken; and one great-grandchild, Huxley Boes.  Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Barbara Heidbrink of Warrenton, MO and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Boes was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Heidbrink and Mildred Eckert; and a brother, Leslie Heidbrink.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Montgomery City, MO.  Father Philip Kane will officiate and interment of ashes will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after the graveside service for a reception at the Knights of Columbus Building in Montgomery City, MO.
