Mark Alan Schneider, 50, of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Born on May 9, 1975, in St. Charles, Missouri, Mark was the son of John Michael Schneider and Ruth Irene (Manierski) Schneider. He graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 1993 and later attended St. Charles Community College before choosing to enter the workforce.

Mark spent many years working as a machinist at Binkley's and often bought and sold things on eBay. An avid golfer, he took great pride in his game, whether he was on the course, or just practicing in the yard, and had a special appreciation for his Bettinardi putters, a reflection of his love for precision and craftsmanship.

Mark was also very tech-savvy and enjoyed working with computers. Though he tended to be private, he loved his family deeply. He especially enjoyed spending time with them, including watching baseball and football, often alongside his father.

A devoted keeper of the Sabbath, he faithfully observed each Saturday in accordance with his beliefs.

Mark will be remembered as a devoted son, a caring brother, and a proud uncle. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his parents, John and Ruth Schneider of Montgomery City, MO; siblings: Scott (Heather) Schneider of Lebanon, IL, twin brother, John (Jennifer) Schneider of Columbia, MO, Nicole (Randy) Devlin of Liberty, MO, Dana Schneider of Montgomery City, MO; and nieces and nephews: Faith (Sean Keeler) Devlin, Heidi (Will) Stokes, Hannah Schneider, Noah Devlin, Jonah Devlin, Brady Craven, and Bennett Schneider.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Estelle "Stella" and John Schneider and Zenon and Catherine Manierski.

The family is holding a private memorial service and inurnment.
