Marilyn Joyce Tucker, 86, of Montgomery City, MO, formerly of Caseyville, IL, died on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at the Mar-Ka Nursing Center in Mascoutah, IL, due to complications from Alzheimers.

Joyce was born June 24, 1930 in Caseyville, IL to Emma and Roger McCann of Montgomery City, MO, formerly of Caseyville, IL. Joyce had six brothers and sisters, Delores and Leo Hadfield, Roger McCann (deceased), Don and Barb McCann, Mary and Ronnie Warner (deceased) and Bob (deceased) and Judy McCann.

Joyce attended the Caseyville Elementary Grade School and Collinsville High School where she met the love of her life, Max E. Tucker. They were married on August 25, 1951 at the Union Chapel Church in Caseyville, IL, by the Reverend Robert Simpson.

They had three children, Deborah (W. Kem) Williams, Rick (Bobbette) Tucker and Kenny (Maureena) Tucker. They had eight grandchildren, Jill and Eric Riess, Amanda Williams, Cody (Jen) Tucker, Erika (Tony) McCray, Tyler (Stephanie) Haberstock, Shelby Tucker, Austin Tucker and Isabella Tucker. They have six great-grandchildren, Riley Riess, Nick Riess, Hannah Riess, Jessica Riess, Sereniti Haberstock and Theo Haberstock.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. The Reverend Ed Hankinson officiated and interment was in the Montgomery City Cemetery in Montgomery City, MO. Visitation was held from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers included Kem Williams, Austin Tucker, Eric Riess, Terry Hadfield, Tyler Haberstock, and Tony McCray. Honorary Casketbearers included Nick Riess and Cody Tucker.
