Marian Theresa Pezold Busken, 89, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the St. Andrews New Florence Care Center in New Florence, MO.

Marian Teresa Busken was born March 11, 1930 in St. Louis County, MO, to Robert Pezold and Martha Beck Pezold. She married Ignatius Joseph Busken on October 25, 1952 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Baden, Missouri, and have been married for over 67 wonderful years. Mrs. Busken was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a very hard worker and worked many years for the Montgomery City Bakery for the Lenzenhuber family, Joe, Tom, and Christine. Mrs. Busken was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Montgomery City, MO and enjoyed canning, making homemade ketchup, gardening and working with her flowers. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Mrs. Busken is survived by her husband, Ignatius Joseph Busken formerly of Montgomery City, MO, now residing in New Florence, MO; her children: Gerard Busken and wife, Sharon, of rural Jonesburg, MO; Michael Busken of Montgomery City, MO; Kevin Busken and wife, Juanita, of Montgomery City, MO; Joseph Busken of Montgomery City, MO; Ignatius Busken of Montgomery City, MO; Mark Busken and wife, Donna, of New Florence, MO; and Paul Busken and wife, Davina, of Curryville, MO; eight grandchildren: Ann McChristy and husband, Patrick; Christopher Busken and friend, Donna; Rebekah Peatross and friend, Ryan; Megan Dake and husband, Jimmy; Jennifer Gillette and husband, Kevin; Mandy Abercrombie and husband, Brad; and Jason Busken and friend, Scott; and thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way. Also surviving is her brothers and sisters: Dorothy Wessel of Moscow Mills, MO; Rita Reeves and husband, Leon, of Louisiana, MO; Betty Dungan and husband, Don, of Williamsburg, MO; John Pezold of New Melle, MO; Lawrence Pezold and wife, Martha, of Hatton, MO; and Gregory Pezold of Hatton, MO; sister-in-law, Mary Pezold of Hatton, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Busken was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Martha Beck Pezold; granddaughter, Sarah; four brothers: Robert Pezold and wife, Nita, Raymond Pezold, James Pezold and Paul Pezold; two sisters: Cecila Pezold and JoAnn Pezold; brother-in-law, Al Wessel and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Pezold.

A Funeral Mass was held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Montgomery City, MO. Interment was in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation was held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the Immaculate Conception Church in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers will included her sons, Gerard, Michael, Kevin, Joseph, Ignatius, Mark and Paul Busken. Honorary Casketbearers included Bobby Pezold and Jimmy Reeves.
