Margaret Lorraine Grieshaber Brower, 94, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at her residence in Montgomery City, MO, surrounded by family.

Margaret Lorraine Brower was born September 22, 1925 in St. Louis, MO, to William and Mary Irene LaForrest Grieshaber. She graduated from New Florence High School in New Florence, MO. Lorraine married Robert Clinton Brower on March 2, 1946, in Mexico, MO. They were married for over 59 years when Mr. Brower preceded her in death on November 13, 2005. Mrs. Brower was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church; a member of the Women's Auxiliary; a member of the Counsel of Catholic Women; a member of the Parish Counsel; a member of the Over 50 Club; and a member of the ICC Quilters. She was a hard worker, a great wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She loved spending time with her family and her many friends and will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Brower is survived by ten children: William Brower and wife, Sandi, of Clovis, New Mexico; Mary Brower Key and husband, David, of Troy, MO; Theresa Brower Reitz Miller and husband, Robert, of St. Peters, MO; Matthew Brower and wife, Rosemary, of St. Charles, MO; Mark Brower of Montgomery City, MO; John Brower and wife, Peggy, of Montgomery City; Luke Brower of Montgomery City, MO; Margie Brower Kurz and husband, Albert, of Kirksville, MO; Andrew Brower and wife, Cherrie of Holt's Summit, MO; and Timothy Brower of Columbia, IL; twenty-three Grandchildren: Melissa Baldwin; Amanda Johnson; Cassie Morris; Nick, Mike, Heather, and Eric Key; Brandy Livingstone, Shannon Heimburger; Tara Beveridge; Jessica Rodgers; Ryan Brower; Cole and Ross Brower; Mindy Caldwell; Alexander Kurz; Heidi Filz; Keegan, Korbin, Olivia, Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Elijah Brower; thirty-two great-grandchildren; Brothers and Sisters: Dan Grieshaber and wife, Dorothy, of Dearborn, Michigan; Marie Atterberry of Montgomery City, MO; and Alex Grieshaber and wife, Genelle, of Hermann, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brower was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Irene LaForrest Grieshaber; her husband, Robert Clinton Brower; two grandchildren: Bridget Kurz and J. T. Henley; one great-grandchild, Evy Heimburger; one son, Joseph Brower; one son-in-law, Chris Reitz; step-father, Paul Gentry; brothers and sisters: Frank Grieshaber, Vicki Hillebrand, Oliver Grieshaber, and Elaine Childress .

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 17, 2020, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Montgomery City, MO. The Msg. Gregory Higley will officiate and interment will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, west of Montgomery City, MO. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO, with a Rosary Service to be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers include Mrs. Brower's sons: William, Matthew, Mark, John, Luke, Andrew and Timothy Brower. Honorary casketbearers include all of Mrs. Brower's grandsons.
