Loretta Mae Mahaney, 71, of Mexico, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Loretta was born on February 12, 1951, in Montgomery City, Missouri, the daughter of Charlie Tinpson and Anna Mae Clark. In 1972 she married Marvin S. Mahaney and they had three children. They spent 46 wonderful years together before Marvin preceded her in death on August 19, 2018. Loretta attended St. Paul CME in Mexico, Missouri. She loved playing cards, BINGO, and going to the casino.

Mrs. Mahaney is survived by her 3 children: Charlene D. (Scott) Long, Marvin S. Mahaney, Jr., and Monica N. Mahaney, all of Mexico, Missouri; grandchildren: Bianca Mahaney, Rajnay Curtis, Taveon Mahaney, Myron Mahaney, and Jamar Huddler; great-grandchildren: Ava Rodenbaugh, Keith Collins III, and Aubriella Collins; brother, Harry Clark; and nieces, Connie Mayweather and Loretta Wilson.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Tinpson and Anna Mae Clark, husband, Marvin S. Mahaney, and a brother and sister.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, Missouri, with Reverend Scott Long officiating. A visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at the Montgomery City Cemetery in Montgomery City, Missouri. The casketbearers are Michael Jennings, Conrad Nunnelly, Frankie Thomas, Keith Collins II, Bobby Ray Miller, Floyd Thomas.
