Lois "Faye" Cobb, 86, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Boone Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO, surrounded by family.
On April 25, 1935, Lois Faye Robinson Cobb was born at Bellflower, MO. Her parents were Russell C. and Clara Estes Robinson. Growing up with her brother, Don, and sister, Carolyn Sue, on the farm, she attended a one room school, Prairie Flower and later graduated from Bellflower High School in 1952. She was employed by McQuay-Norris, Navy Division in St. Louis until her marriage to George Cobb on August 12, 1956. They lived in Columbia, MO until his graduation from the University of Missouri and then returned to the farm at Bellflower in 1958. Their move to Montgomery City was in 1996.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Russell C. and Clara Estes Robinson; brother, Don Robinson; and infant sister, Betty Ann Robinson.
Faye is survived by her husband, George Cobb of Montgomery City, MO; Sister, Carolyn Sue Winter and husband, Russel of Bellflower, MO; sister-in-law, Wanda Robinson of Montgomery City, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Interment will be in the Bellflower Cemetery in Bellflower, MO. There will not be any visitation before the service.
