Leonard Earl Gott, 65, of Troy, MO, formerly of Bellflower, MO, died on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, in St. Louis, MO.

Leonard Earl Gott was born October 29, 1952 in Mexico, MO, to Austin Gott and Myrtle Belch Gott. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving from October 29, 1969 until October 28, 1975. Mr. Gott married Patricia Ivicsics and together they had two children, Lennie and Stormy. Mr. Gott enjoyed movies, shopping and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Gott is survived by his wife, Patricia Ivicsics Gott of Troy, MO; daughter, Stormy Devlin and husband, Jody, of New Florence, MO; five grandchildren: Abby and Erica Devlin and Austin, Tori and Tasha Gott; and four great-grandchildren: Emilia, Tyler, Kaydence and Logan. Also surviving are three sisters: Phyllis, Nita, and Bea and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Gott was preceded in death by his parents; Austin and Myrtle Gott; son, Lennie Gott; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Interment with full military honors was in the Bellflower Cemetery in Bellflower, MO. Visitation was held from 12:30 PM until the time of service on Sunday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers included Austin Gott, Tony Bayless, Jody Devlin, Jessie Wittich, Nick Dowling, Chopper Callaway, and Robert Dowling.
