Lawrence Gordon Landrum, 83, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of the Quad Cities, passed away on March 14, 2023.

Gordon was born on October 7, 1939, in Mexico, Missouri.  He was the son of Harvey Lawrence and Cordelia Mary (Gammon) Landrum.

After a previous marriage, he married Sue Kerker Bade on April 29, 1989.

Gordon first worked for Caisson Corp. He was co-owner of Jeffers and Landrum Drilling Company.  He was in sales at Elliott Equipment Company and a co-owner of Industrial Disposal Service.  He was a District Vice-President of Browning-Ferris Industries.  He retired from Xylem, Ltd. In 2010.

He enjoyed travelling, mowing his lawn, and spending time with friends and family.

Gordon is survived by his wife Sue, children Gretchen (Tom) Ashley, Kelly (Kristin) Landrum, Vanessa Peterman, Michelle (Steve) Trice,  Steve (Mary) Bade, Lisa (Matthew) Kriegel, Ethan Bade, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Garry.

Visitation will be at 11:30 on Saturday, March 18, at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, Missouri, with services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Montgomery City.  Reverend Lynn Quist is officiating.
