Larry Allen Duncan, 71, of rural New Florence, MO, died on Monday, February 3, 2020, at his home.

Larry Allen Duncan was born on January 10, 1949 in Moberly, MO to Virgil Allen Duncan and Sylvia Gravitt Duncan. Mr. Duncan was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired from Missouri Power & Light (now Ameren Missouri) after working there for over 37 years. He started out as a linesman and retired in the meter testing department. He married Theresa Watson on August 30, 1997 in Warrenton, MO, and they have been married over 22 wonderful years. Mr. Duncan attended the High Hill Christian Church in High Hill, MO and was a member of the IBEW Local Electric Union. He loved music, especially blue grass and old hymns, and was very talented as he could play the guitar, violin, banjo and bass. He loved visiting with all his family and his many friends and will be missed dearly.

Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife, Theresa Watson Duncan of rural New Florence, MO; his mother, Sylvia Gravitt Duncan of Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville, MO; children: Bradley Duncan of Brookfield, MO; Jeff Klein and wife, Lisa, of Steelville, MO; Chuck Duncan and wife, Julie, of Mexico, MO; Theresa Dempsey of Las Vegas, NV; and Brian Klein of Warrenton, MO; and grandchildren: Bryant Duncan, Star Klein, Kennett Dempsey, Joselynn Heidbrink, Skylar Klein, Braxston Duncan, Zellen Duncan and Rynn Duncan. Also surviving is his sister, Brenda Deppe and husband, Steve, of Mexico, MO; one brother, Kevin Duncan and wife, Krista, of Mexico, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Allen Duncan and one brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Duncan.

Mr. Duncan was cremated and there will be a memorial service at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the High Hill Christian Church in High Hill, MO. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the High Hill Christian Church in High Hill, MO, with a meal to follow the service.
