Juanita Lois Cravens Mason, 75, of Middletown, MO, died on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at her home surrounded by family.

Juanita Lois Cravens Mason was born November 5, 1944 in Antwerp, Ohio, to Henry Cravens and Pearl Handy Cravens. She graduated from Fairview High School in Farmer, Ohio, in 1962. Juanita married Jim Mason on June 12, 1961 in Angola, Indiana and have been married for over 58 wonderful years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Juanita was a great homemaker, but also had been the manager of an apartment complex in St. Louis, MO; and was in business with her husband running an automation, fabrication and welding business. She was a hard worker but enjoyed sewing, crafts and knitting and was a very giving person. Juanita used to foster children and was active in the Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts and was currently attended the Nazarene Church in Montgomery City, MO. She loved being with all her family and many friends and will be dearly missed by everyone.

Mrs. Mason is survived by her husband, Jim Mason, of the home in Middletown, MO; four children: Shelly Benson and husband, Robert, of San Francisco, CA; Wendy Patterson of St. Louis, MO; Stephen Mason and wife, Gloria, of San Juan, TX; and Charles Mason and wife, Ginnie, of Mexico, MO; grandchildren: Amber, Michael, Jonathan, Adam, Daniel, Rebecca, Brittany, Cheyanne, Michael, Tony, Michelle, Angie, Kayla, Julian, Haylee, Jazlyn, Robert, Jr; great-grandchildren: Jacob, Rachel, Zachary, Kailey, Ethan, Jonah, Riley, Roan, Mike, David, Payton, Sabastian, Isaac, and one on the way. She is also survived by one brother, Don Cravens of Ohio and his wife Carol along with a sister in law, Karen Cravens of Indiana and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Pearl Handy Cravens; grandson, Patrick; one brother, Leroy Cravens and a daughter in law, Alicia Mason.

Mrs. Mason was cremated and there will be a service on June 12. Details to follow later.
